Just a few days ago, we shipped the Tyros Launchpad.
The pitch was simple: anyone should be able to launch an NFT collection in an afternoon.
No code. No studio. Type a prompt, pick the traits, deploy.
The first test was my own. Tyros Founders went live with zero promotion. No tweet, no announcement. It sold out in six hours.
The second test was a community creator. Empty Heads went live. 333 supply. Psychedelic apes with weird things on their heads. Then LIZRD-X β 2,000 supply. Then The Leif Erikson Crew, my own tribute drop. Then more.
The Launchpad is working. People are launching. The mechanic is doing what it was built to do.
Nevertheless, this is only version one.
What's coming for creators
Right now the Launchpad gives you the basics: prompt, traits, AI-generated art, contract deployment, IPFS hosting, mint page, royalties. Enough to ship.
What it doesn't give you yet: serious creator infrastructure. That's the next wave. More control over rarity tiers. Editable mint pages with custom theming. Holder snapshots for whitelists. Pre-mint hype tools β countdown timers, allowlist windows, Discord role gating. Built-in distribution levers, including campaign-funded boosted listing rewards once your drop graduates to the main marketplace.
I want a solo creator on Tyros to ship a collection that looks and feels as polished as anything coming out of a studio with a five-person team. That's the goal.
What's coming for buyers
The other side of this needs work too. A frictionless launch pipeline is great for creators. It's also great for bad actors. If I make it trivial to deploy a collection, I have to make it equally trivial for buyers to spot what's worth their time and what isn't.
So: collection verification badges. Creator history visible on every drop page. On-chain reputation tied to past launches. Mint progress transparency β real time, no fake counters. Trait verification before reveal. Refund mechanics for collections that don't hit minimum thresholds.
If you're minting on Tyros, you should know exactly what you're getting into. That's table stakes, not a feature.
