β back to the huntThe 72-Hour Apex Hunt β Rules
A 72-hour mint event on apex-huntress (Cronos). 14 milestones, each ending in one on-chain prize draw. 10 CRO prizes and 5 NFT prizes, all pre-funded in the escrow wallet before the hunt opens.
How a draw works
- Each milestone is a total-mint number. When the collection reaches it, that βmileβ (the mints since the previous milestone) closes and a single winner is drawn.
- You get one entry for every NFT you mint inside that mile. Mint three in a mile, three entries.
- You must still hold at least one token from that mile at the moment it draws. Minting and immediately selling forfeits the entry.
- Each mile is independent β a mile you entered draws only from that mileβs minters.
Why the draw canβt be rigged
- The random seed is the block hash of the mint transaction that closed the mile. It doesnβt exist until the mile ends, and nobody β not the creator, not Tyros β can control or predict it.
- Entries are ordered by token id (the public mint sequence). The winner is
seed mod number-of-entries. - For every draw we publish the entry count, a hash of the entry list (posted before the winner is computed), the seed, the winning index, the winner and the payout transaction. Anyone can recompute the result from public chain data.
- No prize is ever tied to a specific mint number, so there is nothing to snipe.
Free entry β no purchase necessary
You do not have to mint to enter. During the hunt, one free entry per wallet per mile is available at the free-entry page. A free entry joins the same draw as minted entries and has the same chance per entry. Free entries are limited to one per wallet per mile and are not subject to the still-holding requirement.
Prizes & escrow
- Every prize is held in the sprint payout wallet before the hunt opens. The hunt page shows the funded status of each prize.
- Winners are paid automatically from that wallet after each mile closes β CRO as a direct transfer, NFTs by transfer to the winning wallet. No claim step, no manual payout.
- A mile that does not close does not draw. If the hunt ends before a milestone is reached, that milestoneβs prize is not awarded and returns to the funder.
Eligibility
- Open to anyone able to mint on the platform, except where prohibited by local law.
- The creator, team, platform and escrow wallets are excluded from all draws, as are wallets flagged for self-minting.
- Tyros applies its standard AML / sanctions posture: payouts may be withheld from wallets appearing on applicable sanctions lists or where required by law, consistent with German (GwG) and EU obligations.
Prizes are provided by the collection creator and, where marked, by Tyros. Tyros operates the draw and settlement and does not custody mint proceeds. Nothing here is legal or financial advice. These rules are fixed for the duration of the hunt.
